原文
子曰：“不在其位，不谋其政。”曾子曰：“君子思不出其位。”
译文
孔子说：「不在那个职位上，就不去谋划那个职位上的政务。」曾子说：「君子思虑所及，从不超越自己本分之外。」
ENGLISH
The Master said: "When not in a position of authority, do not deliberate upon its affairs." Master Zeng said: "The exemplary man's thoughts never stray beyond the bounds of his own station."
