子曰：“可与共学，未可与适道；可与适道，未可与立；可与立，未可与权。”
译文
孔子说：「可以一同求学的人，未必可以一同践行道义；可以一同践行道义的人，未必可以一同坚守道义；可以一同坚守道义的人，未必可以一同通权达变。」
ENGLISH
The Master said: "Those who can study together may not be fit to walk the same path; those who walk the same path may not be fit to stand firm in it together; those who stand firm together may not be fit to exercise flexible judgment together."
注释
①立：立于道而不变，即坚守道。
②权：本义为秤锤，引申为权衡轻重，随机应变。
